Web Map Service Plug-in

FCSI does it again! We continually provide solutions to bring more data to you on the GE Energy Smallworld Core Spatial Technology application. We have built upon our OpenStreetMap Plug-in and created an easily configurable plug-in that shows Web Map Service (WMS) data as overlays onto the application.

Capabilities

WMS GetMap

We provide image overlays from WMS GetMap requests during view refresh. This data can have transparency and have a color legend associated to the layer. You can change the layer visibility or ordering at any time.

WMS GetFeatureInfo

We also provide interactive map selection to display details about the overlays using the GetFeatureInfo protocol. We currently display the layer information at the selected map point to you using the default browser. This can be expanded to support additional spatial analysis with your asset data.
